3 Reasons to Choose a Commercial Rooftop Unit

There are plenty of responsibilities on any commercial property owner’s plate. If you are serious about succeeding in your business endeavors, however, you must remember that it is not all about finances and scaling upward. You must also be sure to keep your potential and existing customers, tenants, and/or employees comfortable and happy. To do so, you need a great commercial HVAC system installed. If you are ready to have a system installed in a new property, or if the time has come to replace an existing commercial HVAC system, we strongly recommend that you consider the use of a rooftop unit.

Ease of Access

Depending upon what type of business you are in, you may not want HVAC technicians passing through your property on their way to service your HVAC equipment. A fine dining establishment, for instance, does not necessarily invite this type of scenario. By keeping your HVAC equipment up on the roof, you provide your technicians with great ease of access, and your clients and customers won’t have to be disturbed.

Space

Space is at a premium in many parts of our area, and you may not want your commercial HVAC equipment taking up that valuable space that could be used for parking, outdoor seating, etc. When you move your HVAC unit up to the roof of your building, you can free up some space to be used in a better way.

Aesthetics

You won’t hurt our feelings by saying that heating and air conditioning equipment is not very visually appealing. If you want to keep your property looking great, or make some room for unique landscaping, getting your HVAC equipment out of the way by moving it up to the roof makes a lot of sense.

You can count on Polar Bear Air Conditioning & Heating Inc. to install and service your rooftop unit properly in Washington, D.C.
